I started as a driver, then a supervisor, and I've never forgotten what 6:45am feels like when a bus won't start and forty parents are waiting. That memory runs my whole operation: I over-prepare so mornings are boring, because boring means safe and on time.
Fifteen years and 1,800 children later I run 24 buses and 40 drivers with a zero-incident record — built on checklists, GPS tracking, driver discipline and maintenance I refuse to defer. Route planning & optimisation

A transport operation lives or dies at 6:45 in the morning. Everyone else sees a bus that turned up — nobody sees the breakdown that didn't happen because the pre-trip check caught it yesterday, or the route I re-planned so a six-year-old isn't the last one dropped at 5pm. My job is to be boring: predictable, on time, and paranoid about safety, so that a parent never has to think about the bus at all.
Pre-trip — every bus, every morning: brakes, tyres, doors, first-aid, driver's licence & rest. No check, no wheels.
Dispatch — 24 buses out on the clock, live tracked, with a backup vehicle always warm.
On route — GPS + attendance so every child is accounted for from gate to gate.
Incident-ready — breakdown, weather, absent driver: a written plan and a standby for each.
Debrief — log the day, flag the near-miss, fix it before it becomes an incident.

Managed 30 staff-shuttle vehicles for corporate contracts; built the pre-trip inspection system and driver rostering still in use, and lifted on-time performance to 99%.
