School Principal · Ph.D. Education · 24 years · 2 turnarounds

Schools don't change. Cultures do.

24 years in education — 11 as a Principal. I've led a 2,400-student CBSE school and turned around a struggling one: enrolment up 60%, teacher attrition down to 4%, and a board that stopped worrying. I run schools on three numbers and one non-negotiable: children first.

I · About me

A note, before the numbers

Every school I've led, I've started the same way: two weeks of sitting in the last bench of classrooms, saying nothing. You learn more about a school from the back row than from any audit report — which teachers own the room, which children have gone invisible, where the culture actually lives.

My leadership record is in the numbers below, but the numbers follow from habits: teachers who are developed rather than inspected, parents treated as partners rather than customers, and a timetable that protects deep work for staff and play for children. At Greenfield, this took enrolment from 1,400 to 2,240 in five years. At my current school, it took our board results to the district's top three while cutting teacher attrition to 4%.

I am now looking for my next mandate — a school board that wants durable change, not a caretaker. If that's you, the office is open.
