Résumé
School Finance Manager · CA (Inter), MBA-Fin · 18 yrs

Every rupee accounted, every fund where it belongs.

18 years managing institutional finances — budgets, fees, payroll, statutory compliance and the annual audit that never keeps me up at night because the books are always ready. I treat a school's money as what it is: parents' trust and children's futures. Precise, transparent, and calm when the auditors arrive.

Every rupee accounted, every fund where it belongs

I qualified in accountancy and spent my early years in corporate finance before moving to the education sector — and I've never gone back, because managing a school's money means something. When I close the books cleanly, teachers get paid on time, fees stay fair, and a trust can prove to every parent that their money did what it promised.

In eighteen years I've managed budgets up to forty crore, steered institutions through GST transition and trust-compliance overhauls, digitised fee systems that leaked lakhs to manual error, and presented clean audits to boards and regulators without a single adverse finding. Finance in a school is quiet work — its success is measured in the absence of drama.

If your board or trust needs a finance manager who is technically rigorous, scrupulously honest, and treats institutional money as a responsibility rather than a spreadsheet — my record, references and audit history are open for review. Hand me the books that worry you; making them trustworthy is the whole point of the job.

03 · How I run it

Stewardship, not just bookkeeping

Institutional finance isn't bookkeeping — it's stewardship. Every rupee in a school's account is a parent's trust and a child's opportunity, and it deserves to be handled with both precision and conscience. My job is to make sure the money is where it should be, spent on what it should be, and provable to anyone who asks — the board, the auditor, or a parent. Clean books aren't a year-end scramble; they're a daily discipline. Do that, and the audit is a formality.

  1. PlanA realistic annual budget built with departments, not imposed on them — tied to the school's priorities, not last year's copy-paste.
  2. RecordEvery transaction booked accurately and promptly. Reconciliation is weekly, not annual — surprises live in the gaps between.
  3. ComplyGST, TDS, PF, trust regulations — tracked on a calendar and filed before the deadline, every time, without exception.
  4. ReportClear MIS for the board and honest answers for parents. Transparency is cheaper than suspicion, always.
