I don't just teach. I make little ones love to learn.

10 years teaching nursery and primary — phonics, early numbers, art and big feelings, all through play, songs and stories. A calm, happy classroom where every child feels safe enough to be curious.

🌱 Hello there!

Little hands, big wonder.

I still remember the exact moment a shy four-year-old read her first word out loud and looked up at me like she'd done magic. She had. That look is why I've spent ten years on tiny chairs, singing phonics songs and wiping paint off little hands.

I teach the whole child, not just the worksheet — letters and numbers, yes, but also how to share, how to name a big feeling, how to try again after a wobble. Get those right and everything else follows. A happy, secure child is a child who learns.

If your school wants a warm, play-based classroom where every little one feels they belong, I'd love to say hello.

Everything we learn & play

The whole rainbow of early learning — where every skill starts as a game.

Early literacy & phonics

Letter sounds, rhymes and first words through songs, stories and lots of giggles.

Early numeracy

Counting, shapes and patterns with blocks, hops and hands-on play.

Art, craft & music

Painting, singing and making — where fine motor skills and joy grow together.

Social & emotional

Sharing, kindness and naming big feelings, so every child feels safe and seen.

Play-based learning

Free play, role-play and outdoor games that quietly teach everything at once.

Storytelling & circle time

Puppets, big books and circle songs that build language, focus and belonging.

🌻 How I teach

Every child grows at their own pace

A little one learns best when they don't even know they're learning. My classroom runs on play, songs and stories — because a child who feels safe, seen and delighted will reach for the next hard thing all on their own. My job isn't to fill them up; it's to keep the spark lit and gently point it at letters, numbers and kindness.

  1. Start with play — a song, a story, a game they can't resist.
  2. Sneak the learning in — a letter sound, a counting hop, a shared feeling.
  3. Celebrate every try, not just every win. Confidence first.
  4. Send them home proud — a child who felt clever today will be curious tomorrow.

Little thoughts on big learning

JUN 2026

Play is not a break from learning

It IS the learning. How a simple game of shop teaches numbers, sharing and language all at once.

💬 Kind words

From parents & friends

💬

My daughter cried on the first day and cried on the last — because she didn't want to leave Ms Priya. She taught her to read AND to be kind.

He was so shy. Priya was patient, warm and never rushed him. He walked into Grade 1 confident and curious.

She runs the calmest, happiest classroom I've ever seen, and the learning outcomes speak for themselves.
